Hi...I'm the guy with article you guys are reading...Sorry for not having any pics, I think the post you guys are reading is an older post. Started taking pics a little later but I do have a few pics of some others though.
The technique I talk about I kinda found by mistake years ago and I've been doing it ever since. It takes a little practice and in some cases switching between different grits of sand paper helps, start out with a heavier grit like 120 for heavier cracks or 240 for those smaller cracks, then move up to a 400. You still have to fill in most cases but it smooths the edges of the cracks making your finished job look more natural. You can use Sems Sand Free to do this or I have a prepping solution I use. Talk about hard to take pictures at the same time trying to wet sand, but I did it. Hope this helps out a little better. |
