Big boy BMW.
This really is a big lump like his owner.
Two day detail that turned into three because of the weather. ![]() I didn't get great photos with this detail as I was too busy dodging the weather! A few before. I thought the wheels were a matt finish till I washed them. ![]() The owner does a lot of charity work for animals and I'm think he's letting all the cats sleep on the roof!!! ![]() A hoover was not removing the hairs so I had to use a lint roller which worked wonders, you can just see the back half done. ![]() Once the cat fur was removed it revealed a few green stains on the fabric so I addressed it with the last of my AG fabric cleaner. ![]() All the normal procedures carried out including Snow foam (ODK) Two bucket method wash (infinity wax) Fallout removed (AS red7) Tar removal (AS Tardis) Clay bar (wowo) Trims and badges all scrubbed with APC (verso) Not too much fallout on this one. ![]() Wheels treated with all the above including a final wash with wheel shampoo, the wheels have had a refurbishment and were very sensitive so a lot of car was taken. They really needed to be removed as there's no clear coat on the inside barrels which had a lot of sticky muck still on them. ![]() Ready for its machine polish, trims and edges taped, S20 black on a purple spider pad produced this. ![]() ![]() ![]() Still plenty of scratches and marks left but for a single stage polish this really is good especially on hard German paint. Re-washed and wiped down with IPA ready for a coat of Fusso. ![]() Trims dressed with Solution finish. ![]() Twin tips polished with the bright max twins. ![]() Petroleum filler dressed with Infinity wax rubber wax. ![]() Insides vacuumed and found this stain on the leather, now knowing the owner well I didn't fancy touching it. I hope it wasn't what I think it was!! ![]() Obviously black being black it hides dirt well on leather but shiny leather normally indicates dirty leather. Before (shiny) ![]() After (matt) ![]() Seats were also treated with Dodo's leather sealant. Glass polish, cleaned and sealed with AW H2GO. ![]() I think that's about it, will leave you with a few reflection shots and finished shots. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() All comments welcome Thanks for looking. Cheers Gonz. |

Nice work on a lovely car - however I might be a bit bias!
1 question - what machine was this done on? Having a 630 with numerous swirls, looking at good combinations of pad/polish, and I have noted which ones you use, but wondering whether this was done with DA or Rotary? |
