To the OP, if you've had Lifeshine applied, I certainly wouldn't be removing it unless it looks like a pigs ear job. I'd be washing it sympathetically ( as you would your car anyway) and see how you get on. Autoglym products are good quality.

My step father has Lifeshine applied to his Tiguan. To be honest, it still looks pretty good. Annoyingly, I just missed him washing it when I popped round to drop off a mothers day card on Sunday.

I did catch him running around with a chamois though - I think i'm going to donate a used - but good condition - drying towel at least. Knowing him, he'll stick it in the washing machine with his work trousers though and a cup of sand

Does make me smile - I got into this lark when I lived at home. He always saw the products and had access to them. He spoke to me at length about it several times. I even still use their driveway for full on detailing sessions as I dont have my own. But he's still married to Demon Shine, a sponge and a chamois
