Infinity wax QDX Graphene, wow !

So I bit the bullet and pulled out the DAS 6 to try on my Daughters Jeep'

As some of you know I've hit the 80's in age and had decided not to play with machine polishing again but I just wanted to try out this Infinity Wax QDX Graphene and Daughter was in my ear about cleaning her car, I'm impressed with this stuff.

Looks fantastic... I've read that durability is it's achilles heel so would be interested to hear how it holds up.

She lives just around the corner so I see the car frequently. I'll report on how it goes.

According to Infinity wax, think it was Michael Cipriani, For longevity it needs to be applied to bare paint where they claim a few months.

I have to confess I had to go the easy way so after decon and clay mitt, I used Menzerna 3 in1. a) because I had it and b) there is no way I can do a multi stage polish these days .

I think the Menz leaves a trace of carnauba so not sure how the IW QDX will bond but it looks impressive and I'll let you know.

Harry

Here's another view I couldn't get to work earlier The Menz 3 in 1 worked really well in shifting light swirls which it was covered in. Just a few deeper ones visible to the discerning eye.

It's very slick, if you've been using it how have you found the longevity and have you applied it to bare paint or as a top up?

Infinity wax QDX Graphene, wow !

I use it. Very easy on & off. Gloss and slickness is phenomenal so is the water behaviour but for me that dropped off in a matter of weeks.
Applied to chemically decontaminated paint only. I’d think it’d be better on bare paint.

Nonetheless good product from IW, will be buying there wax to try out soon.
