brake disc prices

is it me, or have they rocketed lately?

think I need some new fronts, so along with new brake pads, I checked on ECP, and they are £178 after discount,

CP4L are coming out at £132.

looked on eBay for something like Mintex, and I just don't trust the listing on there anymore, pretty sure mine are 320mm, and some listings are saying they're for my car and they are either 300 or 400mm

wondering if my Halfords trade card might come in helpful......

Brexit.

My front discs have a retail cost of £950. Fish Brothers were doing them for £665 for a while. After Brexit, and when I had to buy, £725.

Anything manufactured from metal is going up at a very steep rate at the moment unfortunately

I think Euro car parts and CP4L have increased their prices significantly recently and stopped offering the same discounts they used to

As an example, the brake discs and pads all around on a W205 C-Class is double the price at ECP/CP4L compared to buying from Mercedes Newcastle on eBay

Thought I was going mad tbh, last time I bought discs from ECP they were easily half the price before

Lots of stuff going up in price and even then there is a delay in delivery - absolutely nothing to do with Brexit.

I’ve got to be honest I’ve not seen any increase in prices recently there does appear to be shortages on paid stuff though.

ECP and CP4L prices fluctuate weekly, as do the discount codes. Keep an eye on prices if you can hold off buying. PartsforAllCarsand autodoc are also worth a look

Autodoc can be very well priced. Don't be fooled by their .co.uk address. They are in Germany. Their deliveries have been slow since......
